Introduction

The Moray Community Planning Partnership (MCPP) was formed in 1999 with the aim of taking forward Community Planning in Moray.  After a number of changes there are now 7 Community Planning Partners, these are:

  • The Moray Council

  • NHS Grampian

  • Moray Voluntary Service Organisation

  • Grampian Police

  • Grampian Fire and Rescue Service

  • Highlands and Islands Enterprise

  • Moray College

The initial task of the MCPP was to compile the first Moray Community Plan, which was launched in 2001.  Since then, a number of Community Plans have been produced in line with the Single Outcome Agreement.  The Primary focus of the Community Plan is how the Community Planning Partnership and its Theme Groups can address the five strategic objectives of the Single Outcome Agreement.

The strategic direction of the MCPP is set by the Community Planning Board, which meets quarterly.  Its membership is made up of the 7 Community Planning Statutory Partners.
