Purpose |
|
The priority aim is to motivate, support and empower people
to make positive lifestyle choices and develop life skills, which will
improve their health and maximise their potential to enjoy life. The
priority client groups are people with medical conditions, mental health,
people with physical, sensory or learning disabilities, carers, older
people , people socially isolated and on low incomes.
 | Providing greater choice, equal opportunity and
improved access to health and wellbeing services throughout moray by
addressing factors contributing to social isolation. |
 | Providing a holistic concept of health and wellbeing,
addressing both psycho-social and physiological factors, with the
emphasis on preventative measures, self-help and motivation. |
 | Developing innovative approaches to service delivery
which cross the traditional professional boundaries of health, leisure
and education to avoid duplication and maximise resources in Moray. |
 | Providing information and encouragement for people to
participate in a wide range of health and wellbeing, educational, arts
and other social activities offered by various providers across Moray. |
 | Establishing innovative methods of project evaluation
and training.
 | Ensuring the long-term sustainability of the project
and generating new sources of income by delivering new and improved
health and wellbeing services which meet the needs of all people in
Moray.
