Seeking out and listening to the views of all sectors of the local community lies at the heart of successful Community Planning. This section of the site highlights the many consultation exercises taking place in Moray at any point in time. These range from Citizens' Panel surveys around specific themes to asking for views on the latest policy directives coming from the Government. It also provides information on the results of the previous consultations, where these are made available.

These are a wide range of methods, which can be employed , to gather views and opinions. The Moray Council has produced a Consultation Toolkit to provide guidance on the most appropriate methods to employ and how carry them out effectively.
