RAF Lossiemouth Archive
A joint forum initiative is in the early stages working with both Milne’s and Laich Forums, as well as the RAF, Library Service and hopefully Robert Gordon University. A small museum and archive exists within the RAF base, but is currently unlogged. Work is beginning to archive the information and make it available for use in the community by various groups. It is envisaged that a spring exhibition will take place using some of the artefacts and also work with schools to produce some creative writing, journalism and artwork. |

The Youth Forum brings together young
people aged 12-25 to discuss common concerns and ways of
improving the quality of life in their area.

 | Lhanbryde Drop-In
The drop-in at Lhanbryde C.C has been operating on Friday nights since July
07 and is currently attracting around 35 young people. A consultation
disco was organised and planned by drop-in members. In response to the
consultation a number of free taster sessions funded by LCN were offered
including dance, singing, web site making, mountain-biking and music
workshops. The intention is to have more in depth sessions of the most
popular options during the Easter holidays. Long-term projects that
the action groups wish to progress include a skateboard facility and
increased sports opportunities in Lhanbryde.. |
