Help is at hand for local community groups

Moray Council’s community support unit is launching a series of free handbooks week beginning 31st January to help support local community groups and organisations in Moray.

The purpose of the handbooks is to provide practical support and topics include marketing, increasing your membership, funding, as well as handbooks for area forums and village halls.

The handbooks have been developed by community support staff in response to need, identified whilst undertaking support needs assessments with local groups.

Copies of the free handbooks will be available, on a drop in basis, at the following local launch events:-

Milnes High School, Fochabers
Monday 31st January, 3.30 to 8pm

REAP Office, Mid St, Keith
Tuesday 1st February, 1.30pm to 4.30pm

Lossiemouth Community Centre
Tuesday 1st February, 3-5pm and 6-8pm

Forres Community Centre
Tuesday 1st February, 4pm to 6pm

Elgin Community Centre
Wednesday 2nd February,  2-5 pm and 6-8pm

Buckie Library
Thursday 3rd February, 2-4 pm and 6-8pm

Aberlour Library
Thursday 3rd February, 3pm to 7pm
