http://www.spiritofspeyside.com/

A warm welcome awaits in and around Speyside where over half Scotland’s Malt Whisky Distilleries benefit from the crystal clear waters of the River Spey. The 2007 annual Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival provides a unique opportunity to:
Visit distilleries not usually open to the public. Meet with the experts who develop all the subtle nuances of the famous Speyside Malts. Take part in the many in master-classes, tours and unique tastings. Attend world class contemporary concerts.

The Speyside Way

http://www.moray.gov.uk/area/speyway/webpages/swhome.htm

The Speyside Way is one of four official Long Distance Routes in Scotland (the others are the West Highland Way, the Southern Upland Way and the Great Glen Way). It was first opened in 1981, to run from Spey Bay to Ballindalloch, with a spur to Tomintoul being added in 1990. A northern extension from Spey Bay to Buckie followed in 1999, with the route finally being completed between Ballindalloch and Aviemore in April 2000. The route now links the Moray coast with the edge of the Grampian Mountains, generally following the valley of the River Spey.

Maps are also available at a small fee to help you navigate your way around from Speybay... to where ever your feet take you! You also have the option of being able to horse ride, cycle and even bring your dog along the route! For more information visit the website.
