Employability Provision (Start date 1 October 2009)
18 month project - £102,503 (100% funded by FSF)
The employability service will operate until March 2011 to deliver a tailor made key worker service to individuals most distanced from the labour market. Individuals who due to the barriers they face are unable to access other mainstream employment provision such as Get Ready for Work, New Deal etc.
The service was open to all individuals in Moray aged 16+. There was an element of targeted delivery at the top five most disadvantaged areas in Moray. The barriers faced by individuals eligible for this service will include substance misuse, offending behaviour, mental health issues, lone parents, low attainment and disabilities.
The service contributed to the development of a greater integrated approach to employability delivery in Moray.
