Moray Economic Partnership

Moray Economic Partnership (MEP) is working to grow a sustainable, diversified economy in Moray.


The Partnership, which has grown out of the successful joint working experience of the Moray Task Force, brings together senior figures from:

1.   The Moray Council - Councillor Graham Leadbitter (Chair)

2.   The Moray Council - Rhona Gunn, Depute Chief Executive (Economy, Environment & Finance)

3.   The Moray Council - Jim Grant, Head of Development Services

4.   The Moray Council - Chris Muir, Senior Officer, Economic Strategy & Development

5.   Highlands and Islands Enterprise - David Reid, Area Manager 

6.   tsiMoray - Andrew Anderson

7.   Moray College UHI - David Patterson, Principal & Chief Executive

8.   Visit Moray Speyside - Gemma Cruickshank, Chief Executive

9.   Federation of Small Businesses - Pearl Hamilton

10. Moray Chamber of Commerce - Sarah Medcraf, Chief Executive

11. Skills Development Scotland - Stephen Sheridan, Skills Planning Manager


MEP will support and diversify the economy by delivering early economic activity, aligned to the longer term aims of Moray's Economic Strategy.
